Hip-Hop Cash King Jay Z celebrates Beyonce's Birthday with Surprise Lavish Party

Jay-Z gave his superstar wife Beyonce Knowles a birthday to remember on Saturday, September 4 when he hired a plush New York restaurant named The Darby and filled it with orchid flowers and celebrity friends like Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Diddy and Serena Williams. Hov bought a six-layer cake out for Beyonce. Cassidy played Stevie Wonder’s 'Happy Birthday’. The party went on until 6 am.



Also, Lady GaGa gifted Beyonce with a diamond studded whip which was custom-made with bra and knickers to match. The whip was made out of hundreds of diamonds and leather. Hov got his wife a $20 Million Private Island gift. The Island is a 12.5 acre tropical island that can only be accessed by a Yacht or helicopter.

Meanwhile, Rap superstar Jay-Z will lead the way at the 2010 BET Hip-Hop Awards after scoring 11 nominations. The hip-hop mogul is up for the top prizes of Lyricist of the Year, Best Live Performer and CD of the Year for "The Blueprint 3", while his Alicia Keys collaboration "Empire State of Mind" has put him in the running for the Track of the Year and Perfect Combo titles
